Jim Jackson’s Demo Reel
“Rio” marked my return to the world of feature films. I had really convinced myself for several years that that phase of my life was behind me. Although the technology at Blue Sky was vastly different from what I had experienced in my fourteen years at Disney using a pencil and paper, the movie making aspect of the process was very familiar to me. Ironically, when I was hired at Blue Sky I wasn’t even supposed to work on “Rio”, but instead I was slated to roll right on to the pre-production for “Ice Age-4”. I am glad that it worked out the way it did.
